Joe focuses on the realization of gWorks’ purpose, vision, and mission. He devotes his efforts to strategy, innovation, capital allocation, acquisitions, team & culture development, and clients. If Joe’s not in the office, you’ll find him on the road meeting with clients to learn from them to drive gWorks’ innovation. He’s passionate about delivering the best products and support so that his clients can thrive.
After obtaining his bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame, Joe served ten years in the United States Navy as an Intelligence Officer. Joe earned an MBA from Harvard Business School where he has also been a guest speaker about small business leadership on multiple occasions.
Joe joined gWorks in 2015 (then GIS Workshop) when he acquired the company.
EVP of Client Success
Janelle works to ensure all gWorks’ clients get the most value possible from our products and services. She focuses on creating successful, lifelong clients through client education, client advocacy, internal domain knowledge training, and new product R&D. In addition to overseeing the client success and support teams, Janelle also contributes to sales, marketing, and gWorks’ development pipeline.
Janelle obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln before going on to obtain a Master’s Degree from Columbia University in New York City.
Janelle has more than 15 years of experience working in client support and account management positions. Janelle has been with gWorks since 2012.
VP of Sales
As Vice President of Sales, Bill provides leadership, direction, and resource stewardship to gWorks’ sales organization. Bill has spent 20 years in SaaS sales leadership and has successfully lead multiple GovTech startups to triple digit growth. Most recently, Bill led sales for a voting system provider, growing sales 853% in just under five years. Bill is directly responsible for growing gWorks sales, building the sales organization, and realizing growth goals.
Bill has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Belmont Abbey College with a concentration in Marketing and Theology.
Bill joined the gWorks team in 2019. When not working, Bill can be found on the water paddle boarding or in the mountains hiking. Bill neither plays guitar nor eats oysters professionally but enjoys both.
