On October 18, 2022 gWorks acquired Softline Data, Inc. to bring a unified customer experience to small local government.
Softline Data, Inc. is now a part of gWorks and will operate under the gWorks brand. This acquisition marks a significant step for gWorks in its mission to provide the most reliable and easy-to-use software solutions to empower small and medium-sized local governments.

Can I expect the same quality of support?
We want to assure you that the support you will receive will continue to be the best in class. You will continue to work with the same people you have in the past and be able to reach them on the same 800 number or through their emails for the time being. In the near future, we’ll be implementing a ticketing system to ensure responsiveness, provide greater transparency, and self-service options.
What other changes should I expect?
We don’t expect any immediate impact for current customers. gWorks does offer additional resources and products to guide you into new technology, make your organization more integrated, and to make your work easier, more efficient, and less time-consuming. We look forward to discussing those in more depth with you very soon.
Do I need a new contract?
Yes, we will be asking each new client to sign gWorks’ Master Service Agreement and Terms of Service, just like you do for Microsoft or Apple, Google, or Hulu.
